Patricia is a solicitor with over 20 years' experience in Family Law. Patricia has worked in Victoria and Queensland in Australia and in London in England. Patricia attained her Bachelor of Arts/Law in 1990. Post graduate Patricia has undertaken the Practical Legal Training Course at the Leo Cussen Institute in Melbourne, and completed the Representation of Children in Family Law through Legal Aid Queensland and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. Patricia has also undertaken training in Mediation, has completed the Practice Management Course and is a qualified Collaborative Lawyer. In 1999 Patricia undertook the process through the Queensland Law Society to become an Accredited Family Law Specialist. She has maintained that qualification since that time. Prior to setting up her own practice in 2004, Patricia was employed in private practice, worked at Legal Aid Queensland and was employed by Butterworths (now Lexis Nexus) in London as the editor of the Butterworths Family Court Reports. Patricia is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, the Queensland Law Society, the Law Institute of Victoria, the Law Society of England and Wales, and the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland.
