KSG provides an end-to-end service including design, draft, certification, fabrication and on-site installation from standard operations to unique solutions which are developed in close consultation with the client. By combining our own skills and experience with those of our sub-contractors, we can work through the entire complex process from an initial hand sketch to installation and commissioning.KSG is based at 23 Titanium Drive, Paget (Mackay). This facility is the headquarters for our operations while also providing a Queensland location from which our clients service the Bowen Basin coal fields. This premises includes an Engineering Office, focused on design, upgrade and overhaul of mining machinery and mineral processing plants, complete with a diversified workshop to cater to the fabrication and refurbishment of mining and processing machinery and equipment and associated sub-components. Our team of Workshop and Trades Personnel excel in developing complex fabrications and development of client’s ideas into prototypes, which can be trialed and tested to suit individual requirements. From this stage detailed drafting and engineering can be applied to the prototypes and confirm it meets all Australian Standards and quality assurance. The workshop is comprised of highly qualified welding personnel who have extensive experience in all fabrication and welding processes to AS1554 Parts 1 – 6, semi-automatic welding, stainless steel welding, pressure welding and aluminum welding.In addition we have detailed Drafting Personnel who utilise the latest technology including Inventor, (a three dimensional modelling and drafting package), Space gas (a structural analysis package), and 3D Civil.KSG has a strong focus on performing all Engineering in house by Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) structural, mechanical and civil engineers. Any project has the option to be supported by Finite Element Analysis (FEA), which will come complete with certification documents produced by an accredited RPEQ Engineer.The Field Services team is capable of rapidly mobilizing to site and being self-sufficient for equipment shutdown or breakdown situations. Field experience spans from long wall equipment overhauls, to stacker reclaimer repairs, erection of steelworks and installation/refurbishment of material processing plant and equipment.
