FRESH FISH AND CHIPS AND FANTASTIC VIEWS. Situated on Lake Burley Griffin, Snapper is the Canberra Southern Cross Yacht Club's fish and chip shop. Voted by locals as Canberra's best fish & chippery, Snapper offers fresh fish and chips along with tranquil lake views and a relaxed family atmosphere. We also serve great Lonsdale Street Roasters Coffee plus a range of soft drinks, Emma and Tom's juices, Australian wines and local and imported beers. Snapper is open 11am-8pm from Monday to Friday and 8am-8pm on weekends and public holidays, with fish and chips available from 11am. Bookings & pre-orders are not available at Snapper. We feature live music on the lawns every Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays throughout Summer.
